2008: The Final Year

Week 5: Seattle 17 - Green Bay 27

This was another sleeper game. I can handle a loss but when the game is as dreadfully boring as it was this week, it's just not much fun.

Now we know that the injury to Hasselbeck's knee is a little more serious than Coach Holmgren let on at first, and today the media is saying they don't know if he'll be good to go next week for the Tampa Bay game either. Likewise, Seneca Wallace is iffy with his injury, although they're hoping he'll be able to get the start instead of Frye. Hats off to Frye who played alright yesterday. He's facing some tough media critques but I thought he did alright given his lack of experience in working with the starters.

I'm not positive that I crunched the numbers correctly but I believe this loss puts Coach Knox back in the lead as the winningest coach in Seahawks history.
