Winning Seahawks

Week 3: Seattle 37 - St. Louis 13

We finally got our first victory and it was a sweet one against division rivals, the St Louis Rams! True to their word, the fans gave Josh Brown a rousing chorus of boos when he walked onto the field to practice, when he lined up to kick, and even after the kick went through the goal posts! He's got to be feeling the love - or lack thereof!

This week the Seahawks, at the urging of Mike Holmgren, signed the oh-so-troubled Koren Robinson to the squad. Since leaving the Seahawks due to one too many discipline problems, Robinson has bounced around the league. He was sitting at home, unsigned, when he got the call from the Seahawks to help out our injury-riddled receiving corps. Mike Holmgren stood by K-Rob when many others didn't. He gave him multiple chances to succeed. For Koren Robinson to come back, clean this time around, and succeed in the league would have to be a personal victory for Coach Holmgren. It remains to be seen. Robinson wasn't suited up for this game due to an injury. Now we're headed into the bye week and when we come back out on the other side, we should have some of our starters back. It's one of those things that only time will reveal. Stay tuned!

Quotes by Mike Holmgren

"We haven’t gotten off to the best start."

"Now we take a break and now really the season starts all over again for us."
