Week 14: Seattle 23 - Rams 20

We did it! We finally won our third game this season! We trailed throughout the entire game and it took until the final seconds of the game to pull ahead but we did it!!! I'm so proud of our guys for battling it out to the very end!

On an interesting sidenote, I've just finished reading Then Zorn said to Largent... written by former Seahawks Paul Moyer and Dave Wyman. The book covers the history of the Seahawks from Nordstrom to Behring to Allen. Interestingly enough, while Nordstrom gets kudos for being a classy, astute and popular owner and Behring gets slammed for his lack of class, lack of NFL know-how, favoritism and great general dislike, Allen gets ... almost nothing. All the credit for turning the club around goes to Holmgren. Make of that what you will, but I think it deserves to be on this particular page to serve as an example of that mystique that surrounds Mike Holmgren.

Quotes by Mike Holmgren

"I don’t know what to say. It’s been a long time.”

"We were a little sleepwalking in the first half. It was kinda quiet in there, eerie a little bit, and we played that way. When he [Seneca Wallace] came off, he was ticked off and he let everybody know it. So … good for him.”

"He’s very emotional in there right now. You’ve got to tip your hat to the young man. I can’t say enough about him. He just gives you everything he’s got all the time.” - referring to Seneca Wallace
