We won Seahawks

Week 7: Seattle 34 - San Francisco 13

Want to know how bad San Francisco is? They made us look exceptional!

This is a game we needed to win if we have any hope of staying alive in the division. Despite 5 losses, we actually still have a chance because our division is so weak this year. The Rams seem to be lifting their game through the rivival of a new head coach mid-season. I wouldn't discount the 49ers either under the mid-season leadership of their new head coach, Mike Singletary. He has his work cut out for him but he's already made his mark by sending a player with attitude to the locker room DURING the game! Gotta love a disciplinarian!

Coach Holmgren is trying a new coaching style every week depending on who we have on the field. Injuries continue to plague this Seahawks team. This week he got it right!

Quotes by Mike Holmgren

"If you're going to go down, go down with your own guns blazing."

"We have to try and keep the quarterback from getting hit. The quarterback really has to have a good week of preparation, and then when we get a chance to make the big play — if one is presented to us — we've got to make it."

"Instead of being so careful about everything and trying to be perfect about every little thing, almost calling the game defensively, we're going to kind of let it go a little bit."
