We know you’re living in the Phoenix area; what are your interests these days? What are you doing with your time? "There's a company in Wisconsin called Destination Wisconsin, taking corporations and companies from Phoenix when it’s real hot and flying them up to Wisconsin to enjoy Wisconsin's better golf outings and courses because it’s such a beautiful place in the summertime. Destination Wisconsin is one of the things I'm starting to do. For years they’ve been doing golf outings throughout the whole country." "Other things I do are speaking appearances which are motivational and corporate-involved, where I play golf or go hunting and fishing and incorporate that into outings for charities, celebrity and charity golf outings across the country. They're just awesome, I go all kinds of places from Seattle down to Florida, up to Chicago, NY, down to San Diego, and Arizona." Dave also keeps busy going to hockey games with his sons, and has a daughter living in Alabama "who has a great southern accent."
And finally, a question that’s on all of our minds, can the 2005 Seahawks win the Super Bowl??? Do they have the mojo to make it work?
"I think so! I think they’re the real thing.
Keith Butler is the linebackers coach for the Steelers, and I got a chance to talk with him and he’s like, 'Dave, you know what? This is my first Super Bowl. It’s ironic that it’s against the team I started off with in the NFL.' Realistically, biased or unbiased, I still believe the Seahawks can win this game just because I think they have a good offense. I saw some things that Denver tried to do against Pittsburgh, and they would have been successful if not for some of the turnovers they had. I don’t know if Pittsburgh can win 4 playoff games in a row, that's hard to do." Previous | Page 7 | Start over
