I am a native of So. California. I have always, as a child since 1966, grown up with Los Angles Rams football. I married a woman who wants "NOTHING" to do with sports, especially Football. She dreads September as this means, FOOTBALL! Although she doesn't like football she puts up (literally) with me. Her only experience with a "live" football game was at the Los Angeles Coliseum (Raider Football). This was a disastrous experience!

Now the reason for leaving Burbank, Ca.to visit Seattle:

My wife was to celebrate her 40th birthday, I had asked her where and what she wanted to do (as this is a special birthday). As she had lived for a brief time in Seattle, She had expressed a desire to stay in a bed/breakfast at Mercer Island (English Tudor View-Joanne). Upon making reservations, I had noticed the REDSKINS were in town. I have never visited Seattle and this was going to be my chance to visit the KINGDOME (before they rip it down). Upon arrival, we visited Seattle, beautiful city, and we went everywhere. Sunday is finally upon us, and we park and start the walk to the Kingdome. Along the way we stop in at the local pubs along the walk. We then come across the END ZONE store and, of course, buy Seahawk sweatshirts, a jersey, reversible jacket and other collectibles for the game. We then take a walk around the stadium and realize we're hitting every bar/pub/tavern that has room to accommodate. Needless to say, we are both feeling "REAL" no pain! Then we see the Southside pavilion tailgate party. We go in and party some more! It's near 1pm (kickoff), so we find our seats. We see a great game (Seahawks win)!

My wife had such a great time that Sunday that she asks me on Sunday if we are going to watch Seahawk football! There is a GOD! I now have hundreds of dollars in collectibles and I now have a wife who loves to watch football ...Seahawk football!!
