Sept. 23, 2007 - Seahawks Stadium, Seattle, WA
THAT didn't happen, and we ended up winning in the final minute of the game! But it was a hugely exciting game! I am hoarse from all the screaming, and the stadium was so loud that I seriously thought my ears would start bleeding! They were ringing after 10 minutes. We may want to think about bringing ear plugs next time!

We had an interesting set of fans sitting next to us. The man directly beside me was in his late 50's, I'd guess, and seemed bored out of his mind. He was with 4 other people who acted likewise. One wore a Miami jersey, one wore a Denver jersey, one small child wore what I would guess is a local sports jersey, and the other two had t-shirts on without team affiliations. None of them appeared to give a hoot about the game - no clapping, no yelling, sometimes standing but mostly sitting. It's almost as if someone promised to give them $100 if they'd sit through the torture of a game. Very peculiar. Every so often the most horrendous stench would waft from the man beside me. At first I suspected flatulence but by the end of the game I was suspecting he'd soiled his pants. Seriously!! It was awful!!! This same man fell asleep during the game. I mean, HOW?!?! It was so loud, fans were cheering, up and down from their seats - how could you possibly sleep? Jan thought he had overmedicated. Quite possible. His head shook a bit like
Parkinson's disease so I do suspect a health problem, but come on ... it was a
seriouslybad odor and when it wafted, it disturbed people in multiple rows.
We all held our breath and groaned to each other! I've never experience anything
                  like it! [continue reading...]
