Sept. 23, 2007 - Seahawks Stadium, Seattle, WA
They were so warm and gracious, so welcoming! It was fantastic to get to meet them all, and I just can't believe their generosity! Tony got so fired up!! He wants to bring his parents' RV next year and tailgate with Cris and his family.

We were at the tailgate party until about an hour before the game. That means we didn’t have time for any shopping, nor did we get to go into the exhibition center to see what was happening there. There just isn't time for everything.

Our seats were on the goal line 8 rows up from the field. They are good/bad seats. Good in that you're near the field and when the action is on your end, as it was often, it's sensational. Bad in that the TV cameras are on platforms that slide down the sidelines, obscuring our view of the goal line at crucial times. Grrrrr! But overall, the seats were in a very good location and I was quite pleased.

The game was interesting. We certainly have played better. We certainly have played worse. (Here comes the ferry on the return trip across Puget Sound! It's so beautiful, lit up and shining on the
water!) The first play of the game was a sensational run back that set up a quick
touchdown! Of course at that point I thought we'd win by 50 points!!!
