Sept. 23, 2007 - Seahawks Stadium, Seattle, WA WE WON!!!!!!!!!!! Oops, er, um ... I mean ... Dear Dairy, What a GREAT day we had today. It was so terrific. I mean to tell you, it was great!!! I feel all teary eyed thinking about the fun we shared. Before I even get to the game I want to write about right now. I am in the great room of the hotel that overlooks Puget Sound. Soft music is playing, low lights are on, and I share the room with a man reading a book. A huge ferry boat is crossing the Sound, and the lights of the city are reflected in the water. It would be absolutely perfect if not for the traffic of the Interstate but even that is OK because it feels so good here. This hotel is so peaceful. I love it. I'm very happy right now.
The day started at 8am when we awoke. We got a little bit of a late start to Seattle and missed out on King Street with Kiltman and the gang. Moses had called 3 times by the time we arrived in Seattle, wondering where we were. Cris, the newcomer to our forum, had invited us to his tailgate party and I'd mentioned that we'd try to stop by. He posted on the forum that he was going to make shish-ka-bobs for us. I was like, oh no!!!! I wasn't sure we'd even make it to his party let alone be his guests! I explained it all to Tony and Jan and they suggested that we drive around and at least try to find him. That is what we did, and we found Cris and his family in the ... gulp ... $45 parking |
