What's new, you ask?

Once again I'm having trouble getting the live feeds here in the US with the satellite/cable package that I have. I'm still hopeful we'll get it worked out, but I said that last year to no avail. Alas.

If I can't get the footy on television, it's back to the Internet audio broadcasts for the afternoon games. That's not a bad thing. I enjoy the footy audio calls, but of course I'd prefer the live games. I recently received a copy of the NAB Cup game, and realized how little I know about what the players look like anymore. Their names are familiar; their faces are not! Time to study those football cards so I can put faces with the names on the radio!

I've had good intentions to work on my Quirky page. It's for my fellow Americans who get that baffled look when they start listening to an AFL audio broadcast! I didn't get it updated as I'd intended to, but hope to add to it in the 2012 season - no, this time I mean it!! :-)
