Hawthorn 16.9.105 - Richmond 8.16.64
Well, here we go again! Just when we give ourselves an opportunity, we take a step backwards and have to play catch up again! An odd season indeed!

I was excited about getting to listen to this game live via the Internet because it was an hour earlier than usual, which meant I wouldn't have to stay up until 2:15am to get the full game! Imagine my shock when I found out there was no live internet audio for this game! I was crushed! I spent nearly 3 hours watching the little squigglies on AFL.com.au, showing a relative idea of where the ball was on the field, and occasionally seeing the score update via text. It wasn't my idea of a terrific Saturday night!

Especially as we never really got into the game!

My woes are nothing compared to those of Mark Coughlan, however. Apparently 3 minutes into the game he suffered an injury that is suspected to be an ACL. If that is the case, it's reported he may be out for a year. That would be a devastating injury to Coughland and to the Tiges. I just really hate to see something like that happen.

I just don't know what to think about this season. We had an opportunity to stake our claim in the Top 8 with a victory and we fell short. Alas.
