Fremantle 15.10.100 - Richmond 13.11.89
Well, we didn't quite pull this one off. It's got to be disappointing to the boys because we came so close in the final quarter.

I was very excited about this game because it was to be aired LIVE in the US at 4:30 in my morning. I was willing to rise and shine for the chance to see a Richmond game LIVE! However it turns out that the channel is included in my DirecTV satellite package right up to game time. After that, there's a $12.00/month fee if I want to watch the game. I can't tell you how disappointing that is. Sure, $12.00/month isn't all that much but getting up at 4:30 in the morning IS! (As much as I love footy, getting up at 4:30am for a match is not something I want to do on a regular basis, especially if I can't choose the game!)

So no live footy for me, and just as well I suppose since we didn't pull off a victory.

Subject: Good Effort

Hi Becky,
It really looked like we were going to win it when we had a 15 point lead in the last quarter. Never mind. I think they really gave it their best shot. We've got the Kangaroos at the MCG next week and hopefully we can win that and have 6 wins up for the first half of the season.

Cheers,
John.
