What do you think of the Super Goal that exists in pre-season footy? Like it? Or not?

My opinion, you ask? I love it! I think it adds a super element of competitiveness to the game! I'd like to see it made a part of the game!

We know that Richmond has a recent tradition of being not so warm and fuzzy to a coach who isn't keeping the team competitive, and yet the Tigers gave Danny Frawley 5 years to prove whether or not he could take an AFL team to the elite level. Was it right? Wrong?

What do you think of Terry Wallace? Does he have what it takes to bring respectability back to our beloved Tigers?

Hello Becky,
As far as Danny Frawley goes, he's a nice guy and all but he really had to go. The club really gave him a fair go, he had 5 years. And I think it retrospect when 'he decided' that he wasn't going to stay on in 2005, he should have stood down immediately. When ever I heard Danny talk after games on TV/Radio etc he never impressed me as being particularly astute about football - or articulate. Now when your hear Terry Wallace talk about football he sounds really insightful. I don't know what it's like re American football, but a coach now really needs to be able to act as a front person for the club. You need someone who can speak intelligently to the media and attract members and sponsors for the club; and this is something I think Wallace will be able to do in a way Frawley never could.

We've done fantastically well this year under Terry Wallace with a lot of new blood on the team and it's wonderful to see the improvement this year.
