Just for fun through the 2008 footy season, I'm going to chronicle the seasons of these two players through my own personal opinions listening to the game and via media outlets. Your feedback is welcome!

Regular Season

Round 6 - Richmond 15.4.94 - Hawthorn 14.22.106

Another really close game against a very good competitor! Don't write the Tiges off yet this season!!!

Brett Deledio - The Fairfax site had an interesting comment on Deledio this week: "Deledio clearly has the gifts of a number one pick and that is part of his problem. Just as Paul Salmon had the misfortune to be so talented for a 205 centimetre player that he spent too much of his career at full forward, Deledio also has suffered for his versatility. This year Terry Wallace has used him mainly as a marking forward to support Richardson - a structure that might suit Richmond but does not help Deledio much."

Fan Chris Greenway wrote about Deledio on the Rising Star report on this website following this match.

Nathan Foley - The Richmond FC site reports "Mitch Morton opened Richmond’s goal account and it sparked a yellow and black surge as Nathan Foley and co began to win a share of the ball out of the middle." All reports indicate that he continues to put in remarkable performances.
