Just for fun through the 2008 footy season, I'm going to chronicle the seasons of these two players through my own personal opinions listening to the game and via media outlets. Your feedback is welcome!

Regular Season

Round 4 - Richmond 20.17.137 - Fremantle 10.13.73

I didn't get to listen to this one live on the internet because it came on at my 1:40am, but I hear it was quite a game! It's refreshing to put last week's debacle behind us!

Brett Deledio - I found a neat blurb in the papers this week about Deledio taking the Sport 4 the Environment ‘60 Second Sports Power Shower Challenge’ on Saturday. The event is supposed to help the sporting community become conscientious about reducing water consumption. The plan is to encourage a 60 second shower after playing sport, training or working out. Currently, apparently, the rule by government bodies (government bodies recommend the length of a shower?!) to the four minutes. I learn something new every day!

Nathan Foley - The Club site said that "Richmond had innumerable good players" of which they listed Foley as one. They also descibed his work knocking the ball free as terrific, and Fox reported that he had seven scoring assists in the game! Fox continued on to say that Richmond "dominated" (Oh, how good that sounds!) with "Foley and Johnson leading the charge." They called Foley's play "silver service" and credited him for increasing the Tigers' lead before half. Foley was listed as one of the best on ground and was given a vote for AFL Player of the Year from Sportal!
