Just for fun through the 2008 footy season, I'm going to chronicle the seasons of these two players through my own personal opinions listening to the game and via media outlets. Your feedback is welcome!

Regular Season

Round 18 - Richmond 10.11.71 - Geelong 20.14.134

Brett Deledio - The AFL site reports " WHO'S HOT: Brett Deledio continued his consistent season with a serviceable 25-possession game against Geelong last weekend. He's scored 20 goals this year and will be keen to add to that tally after missing out against the Cats."

The HUN site reports "Brett Deledio showed class around the packs, but was swamped by the likes of Corey, Selwood, Ling and Bartel, who between them collected almost 120 possessions."

The Fairfax site states "Midfielders Brett Deledio and Richard Tambling, both 21, were among their club's best players."

Nathan Foley - This was not the night for Nathan Foley, unfortunately. The Fairfax site reports, "For Richmond, Foley still finished up with plenty of the ball but did not have his usual influence" and went on to talk about "Cameron Ling throwing his infamous wet blanket upon poor Nathan Foley."

The HUN site agreed, stating "Cameron Ling, returning after a broken cheekbone, had an immediate impact, too, closing down Richmond's No. 1 midfielder, Nathan Foley."
