Just for fun through the 2008 footy season, I'm going to chronicle the seasons of these two players through my own personal opinions listening to the game and via media outlets. Your feedback is welcome!

Regular Season

Round 11 - Richmond 14.12.96 - Adelaide 22.14.146

Brett Deledio - Sportal reports: Nathan Brown, Brett Deledio and Chris Newman all gathered 30-plus touches for Richmond, though Nathan Foley was quiet with just 13 disposals.

But the club site had a different take on it: "Later in the game we had too many blokes playing through the midfield whose kick-to-handball ratio was askew. As good players as they are, we can't have blokes like (Shane) Tuck, (Nathan) Foley and (Brett) Deledio getting three handpasses for every kick that they get, because it just puts other blokes under pressure."

The Fairfax site had these critical words to say about Deledio: Joel Bowden had just put the Tigers a goal up, and they attacked again, Brett Deledio snapping from about 25 metres. His kick was straight, but with little power.

Yet later they referred to him as "silky": That gave the Tigers a four-goal lead and plenty of hope. Cotchin was on fire, Nathan Brown providing the class that Terry Wallace's team badly needs, Deledio similarly silky.
