I first became a fan in 1977 when I saw Zorn/Largent play. I had curly blond hair like Largent so I would emulate him in tackle football games I would play. I also was a lefty so obviously Zorn was the Man!(Bobby Douglass/Bears is my other lefty qb idol).

Starting there I became hooked...however in Chicago it is hard to see the games due to regional coverage. So I got the Inside the Seahawks magazine for my fix. When the magazine jipped me of about a year's worth of issues I quickly found the website for info.

I've also come into contact with many players who have played for the Chicago Bears (Cain, Mirer, Daniels, Obee, Heck, etc.) and got their autographs on my 15th anniversary book. I've also had a chance to meet Largent (you know that story).

[Note to readers: It can be found here.]

So I think that living in Chicago has not been bad for keeping up with the Seahawks. It's hard on Sundays to be here and not get ripped by the Bears fans but I would not trade it in for the world. One of these days I will try to get to Seattle to see a game or something. Until then I will just keep rooting for them and wait until the Bears sign them (maybe Cortez will sign?) I have a lot of memorabilia from the team such as books, mags, diecast cars, stadium replicas, etc. I also have every Starting Lineup figure ever made of a Seahawk player and also have 2 SLU's signed by Galloway and Mirer.
