I never thought it could be done. I loved the silver and black attack, and I loved my hometown of Oakland. So when Al Davis turned his back on us, for LA of all places, the support ended there. And so my Sundays became more and more drab with no true love to cheer for. Even when the Raiders finally returned, alot of us fans didn't. I made a mistake once, I wasn't going to fall into it a second time. So when I accidentally ended up in the beautiful northwest a couple years later, local coverage began ramming the hawks down my throat, on top of that, I won season tickets from my job, and I wasn't even a Seahawk fan! Well it didn't take long. This was the potential filled 97 season. What a team, what character, what talent, and what love between the team and it's fans. I continue to be a season ticket holder. This team hasn't won alot, but they won over me, and that's not easy. You don't meet many Raider-traitors. I can't believe we've got Holmgren, it still doesn't seem real. It's that paranoia that makes me feel like we could lose him in an instant, like it's to good to be true, but it's not. He's here, we're here, let's get out there and kick some ass, M.Wolfe
