Born just in time....

I was born July 31, 1976, the day before the Hawks' first football game. I do not remember a time when I was not sitting in front of the TV on Sundays watching the Hawks. Names like Hughes, Gaines, Butler, Zorn, Herrera are all I remember from that early age. I remember being mad when Zorn was replaced by number 17, and putting up with the year of win two, lose two (remember the poster with Krieg on it in a tu-tu?). I remember shaking the hands of Zorn, Largent, and Warner at a banquet. I have every piece of Seahawk memorabilia I ever was given or purchased. Jeff Bryant came to my Junior High School and said hello (he dated my aunt, a stewardess on the Seahawk charter plane). My lifelong dream has been to own season's tickets, and as I graduated from the UW this summer that dream has been realized. I have never in my life been so excited to be a Hawk fan as I am now with the arrival of Holmgren and the starting of Kitna, whose scrappy, mobile play reminds me of Zorn.

You have a great website for those who bleed silver and blue. Go Hawks!
