I'm sure you saw the piece on Joey Galloway and the little boy with cancer. That was one of the greatest things I ever saw since I started watching football 16 years ago as a kid. He got to practice with the team and wear a Seahawks jersey and helmet. He got a locker with the guys and Joey treated him so well. They interviewed the boy's mom and she was so appreciative and that was really special. Then when he caught that touchdown ball and handed it to him even big macho lugs like me had to go reach for the Kleenex.

Last time I cried watching a football game I was eight years old and the Chargers had Fouts, Winslow, Joiner, James Brooks, Wes Chandler and scored at will and lost because their defense made Swiss cheese look like the rock of Gibralter. The look on the boy's face and his mother's was just so beautiful. I'm going to be a big Joey Galloway fan from now on. Even when he beats the Charger defense like he's done his short career, I'll root for him. In all reality I'm sure that meant so much more for the boy's mother because her son is going to die but she'll remember that time forever. How special will that be? I want to say that Joey Galloway is a credit to the Seahawks or the NFL is an understatement. Joey Galloway is a credit to mankind; be proud that he plays for your team.
