RICH-O! RICH-O! RICH-O!
Don't you love it?!?! He's come to life and he's on a goal kicking spree!! How sweeeeeeeet it is!!!
Let's not forget everyone else on the team, however, who did their part to get the ball to Richo. They are every bit as important! Good for all the boys!
I wasn't able to get the first half of the game because my internet connection failed! Aaaauuuggghhh!! Customer Service said they had it back up at 11:00 pm (the game started at my 11:10 pm) but my system was still down! I was on the phone with the support folks long past midnight, getting more frantic by the moment! Finally the connection sprang to life with 2 minutes left in the second quarter! I was ecstatic to know that Richmond were alive and well!! What an exciting game it was!!
Thanks for all your letters after the game! It was so much fun to wake up to HAPPY Richmond fans!!! What a change from the dreadful start of the season! It feels GOOD!

Becky,
Richo you great big bundle of talent you. I knew it but I didn't know it would happen so soon. Well I reckon the sky is the limit for him now. We actually have a chance against Port & West Coast they are not playing that well. Out of the 8 by only percentage but climbing. Danny and the boys are on their way!

Rick

Hi Becky,
It's hard to describe my feeling of euphoria with Richo yesterday. Considering that nearly everyone around me was also on their feet and cheering I wasn't alone. No other player in the competition could have done that. There are others that can kick 10, no doubt, but none of them would have 30,000 people screaming their name and in absolute hysterics. I'm surprised you didn't hear the roar in the background on the 'net connection. I've been watching Richo for over 10 years and for all of those 10 years I have wanted him to do what he did yesterday for him to finally do it and for me to be there to witness it was something very special. We've got 2 very tough weeks coming up, let's hope they can continue to make us proud.
Chris.

Hey Becky,
What a game, what a player...RICHO!!!
The more he makes my comments look worse, the happier I am going to get. This was his highest bag of goals in his career and the highest I have seen since I became a Tigers supporter way back when I was a little kid in 1994/95. I sadly didn't get to see the game because I was playing at the time. We got flogged, but who cares when Richmond wins. Three in a row, first time since R2-5 2003. My mate will tape the game off pay TV for me and I just can't wait. It will be one of my most prized videos, if not the most prized. I can't really say much till I've seen the game so I'll leave it there. Boy it will be a great week!

Becky,
Port are quite out of form so we are in with a chance. Should have Campbell and Fleming back this week. Richo and Nathan Brown, or as Rex Hunt effectionately calls him, (Doctor Pink), are forming a formidable duo around goal so I am excited about another possible bag of goals from the Bull Richo and have him leading the goal kicking by season end. Gas is getting back to form and Ray Hall seems to be really making something of his fullback roll. Bowden had a cracker, not to be confused with Andrew Krakour, of a game last week so things are definitely on the up and up.
