WELL...yes, we lost but you know what? I had a ball anyway! This is the first game of the premiership season that I got to listen to live! It was so exciting! I am sooooooooooo going to love it when I get to Australia and can watch the video of a live game! Or better yet, be there in person!!
I was listening to the 3AW audio feed from the INternet. ...the torpedo pierces the atmosphere... and ...he dropped the coconuts and they spilled all over the beach!
The first quote refers to Krakouer; the second to Rodan! Who'd have guessed?!?! I love this crazy game of Australian Rules Football!

Hey Becky
So the year is off to a pretty rotten start but there is still hope yet. Most other years Richmond has gotten off to an absoloute flier only to drift off around round 9 or 10 and finish the season poorly. I hope that it is reversed and we fly at the end to make the finals and give all the contenders a run for there money.
At quarter time Richmond was in front but I never really had any hope because they just didn't deserve to be. From then on it was downhill. St Kilda were just to classy and they wanted the win more. There were more poor performances from a lot of tigers. Mark Coughlan just couldn't get into the game for the third staight week. I have a feeling he won't do much this year but I am sure he will be bounce back next year. Nathan Brown and Kane Johnson had reasonable games and along with Andy Krakouer are probably the only ones who can hold their heads high. We play Geelong next week so hopefully we can win that one but from recollection, we haven't beaten Geelong in many years.
Bye for now
