Some people might disagree with me, but I don't mind a loss if we've put up a good fight. I mean, of course I want a win, there are no points for effort, but the loss isn't nearly as painful when we had a respectable performance. With that in mind, I'd like to let Tiger Fan Alexander Pelic tell the story on today's game. I share his sentiment of being proud of our Tigers!
From: Alexander Pelic What an effort by the Tigers. I was lucky enough to see the last quarter and I have to say that I have never been prouder of a Richmond performance. They went on the hardest road trip in AFL and they nearly won. The last two goals for Fremantle were pathetic. Very bad decisions. Mark Couglan played another ripper along with Johnson and Tivendale. I believe that Cogs will win the Jack Dyer Medal this year and probably the Prime Advice Player of the Year as well. He deserves it. Richmonds season is now definately over and Gympie's ended as well on Saturday. We lost by a point. I was so disappointed because it was the best football we have played all year and everyone put their body on the line for it and the umpires once again ripped it away from us. I thought last week was going to be great because Richmond won and it certainly was. It should be another good week because I believe Richmond played excellent.

The ideas expressed are accurate to the best of my wee, limited and infantile knowledge! Please keep in mind that my comments come strictly from listening to the game, not viewing it. I'm putting a lot of weight into the way it's called.
