"Look! Wild ponies!!!"
Hey, they looked like wild ponies to me!! Turns out they were deer, or maybe antelope. We came to the conclusion that if they're in Kansas, they're deer. If they're in Colorado, they're antelope!!

The last hour of the drive to Scott City past fields and fields and fields and fields and fields and fields and more flat fields
The drive from Scott City to Leoti past flat fields and feedlots.

We were trying to make good time out to Western Kansas so we didn't stop for pics along the way although there were a handful of potential Kodak moments.
The first two pictures are in Scott City at a home where the Seneca bikers camped out. The rest are of the Brown & Brown, Inc. road construction crew working just west of Leoti, Kansas.
