Richmond 9.5.59 - Adelaide 21.8.134
Hmmm. Well, I don't know that there's much to salvage after this week's game. We were not only beat by Adelaide but trounced. Sad, sad, sad.

Fans will always be passionate about the game and of course we want that, but I never like seeing fans behaving badly. It happens over here in the NFL as well, and I do understand the passion of the fans, honestly! I'm among the most passionate of them all. This is just not a happy place for us to be right now. Not happy for Tiger fans, not happy for Tiger players, and certainly not happy for coaching staff.

All I can say is to keep your head held high. We may have to get our bragging rights from one good play in a game, or perhaps even from memories of better days, but I'm still a Tiger through and through.

And I hope you are, too!

Your letters are welcome! I'll post them right here following each game!

Hey Becky,
It's a nice little Saturday morning over here and all I can think of is how bad Richmond are playing. I think that the wooden spoon will end up on our doorstep come seasons end. If it does it will be only the fifth in our history in the VFL/AFL with the last being in 1989. The last few weeks the senior players have been playing like dirt. It is only the youngsters that give some kind of hope and something to look forward to. Play Hawthorn next week who is playing Brisbane in Brisbane this week so they most probably will come off a flogging as well. Richmond is officially the worst team in the league right now and I cannot see things changing much very soon. We can always hope.
