Richmond 6.8.44 - Sydney 16.12.108
Wooden spoon.

It sums up our season.

So many things went wrong for our beloved Tigers this year. I don't want to rehash it because I think all of us are tired of the media attention the Tigers got, most of which was the stuff of nightmares. Right now we dispense with the Frawley era, ring in the Wallace era, and hope for the best.

I know there are a lot of bitter emotions regarding Danny Frawley but I want to salute him as he walks out the door. No matter our record while he was coach, he was and is a classy man worthy of respect. He had to deal with a lot of problems this season that distracted him from his primary role of coaching, and he dealt with them courageously and what I feel is honestly. Maybe we didn't win but I like to think he held the team together in the midst of strife, and I think that counts for something.

I wish Danny Frawley the best of luck in his endeavors.

And for Tiger fans, it's on to next year! I'll be here! I hope you will, too!
