Richmond 14.9.93 - Carlton 18.16.124
Hmpf.

There's just not a lot to say about this season. I would have dearly loved to beat Carlton but it didn't happen, like so many other games this season. Alas.

If there's a positive, it's that we've got a bye week this week. I don't know if that can do anything for us but it can't hurt.

Hey Becky
Just thought I'd reply to your email about who I think should be delisted.

1) Justin Blumfield - He was one of the "big" catches for Richmond a few years ago and has done nothing since arriving. On the scrap heap
2) Adam Houlihan - He is performing well in the reserves but can't do nothing in the seniors. As good as gone.
3) Rory Hilton - One of my favourites but he really isn't performing. If he puts in a good game he can't back it up next week.
4) Aaron Fiora - To me he is one of the main offenders of chipping the ball across the half back line. It irks me that we could have had Matty Pavlich but wasted the draft pick on Fiora instead. BRRR!!!
5) Bill Nichols - Hasn't shown nothing in the few years he has been here and I don't think he will show anything at all.
6) Simon Fletcher - Wasn't good enough for Carlton or Geelong so isn't good enough for Richmond
7) Darren Gasper - I know he has been a fantastic servent to the club but he is getting old and he isn't going to get any better. That knee reconstruction really done him and I am tired of seeing him start down back, play like crap and get moved up forward. I really do hate seeing genuine champs making idiots of themselves when it is time to retire.
8) Ray Hall - Unless they put him up forward where I think he plays best, he's gone. Why put him up back when I can remember R22 2002 against Sydney when he kicked 4 goals and picked up 3 brownlow votes. Why have him down back?
9) Ben Marsh - Why did we pick him up in the first place. Has shown nothing since he got here and will continue to do so.
10) Luke Weller - Same as Marsh

There are others who would be lucky to survive my chopping block. David Rodan being one. How can someone do so well in his debut season and muck the rest up. I think he is a bit too fast for himself sometimes. Kayne Pettifer is another. He actually was one of, if not the tigers best last game and unless he is consistent, he's gone. Good on him though for last game.

And then there is Duncan Kellaway. RETIRE MATE, RETIRE! I really like Duncan but his is too old. I think he did say it would be his last season. Matthew Rogers is another. He is only 4 games away from getting 200 games and I think that the Tigers should give him those. He can't do any worse than the reat of them. He should be set for retirement as well.

Well thats my list and if I have forgotten some I hope that they aren't forgotten come trade time.

I will be at the Brisbane vs Richmond game this weekend and I am so looking forward to it. CMON RICHMOND!!!
