Okay so it was only an intraclub, but it's still a game. Most of the media attention was on boom recruit Kane Johnson, but a few words were written about the D-Rod. Most of them good. He picked up a few touches, kicked a couple of goals and set up a few more. He also gained an admirer in Age journalist Rohan Connolly who described him on radio as a 10 year player and a future midfield champion. Let's just hope he's right.
