Richmond 11.12.78 - Brisbane 13.9.87
Groan.

We did it again. We blew the game ourselves. We had a comfortable lead and we let it get away from us. Richo started out hot, giving us plenty of reasons to be optimistic but in the end, Brisbane stole the game from us.

I'm not too concerned about this game because we apparently showed a lot of positives, that is if the newspaper accounts are accurate, and it's not as though this game actually counts for anything. Just the same, if you were there or saw the game on television, I'd love to hear your take on it! I can't wait till these games are broadcast live on the Internet so I can follow along! It's killing me to have to rely on the newspapers for information!!!

Hey Becky,
I did not get to see the game or listen to it as it is just a practice match so the stats and news reports are my only guide. It is good to hear that Richo kicked seven goals. I am not sure how many was missed but seven goals is seven goals. If he can bag four or five a game regularly like Matthew Lloyd does for Essendon, no one can complain. It is also good to know that the ball is getting up in the forward line as well. I know it's only a practice match but I was happy with how they went. Cooparoo is only about a three hour drive from where I am but I didn't go to it. I kind of wish I did though. I am looking forward to Richmond vs Brisbane in I think round 12 or 13 this year. I definitely will be there!!! We play Carlton next week so hopefully we can win this one. Also another thing, Kayne Pettifer was named amongst Richmond's best. Is this his year to shine. I hope so.

See you later
