In this season of negative publicity, I have to smile at the message I received from Chris during the game! It's posted below. It's just so rare to hear enthusiasm and Richmond in the same paragraph. While Chaffey's had a decent year despite the team record, I haven't had a glowing report like this one all season. ENJOY!!!

Hi Becky,
It's half time in the Freo match, we've got a handy leady, but I wouldn't say we're home yet. I did want to let you know that this first half has been Chaff's best half of the year. He's playing in attack and doing quite nicely, kicked a lovely goal in the first quarter and has pumped the ball forward at every opportunity. Just thought you may like to know.

Hopefully we can continue to play with the same sort of endeavour for the rest of the game and drag out a rare win. Okay the second half has started. Richo kicked his 4th and it was set up by guess who? Yes! A gutsy mark from Chaffey! I love it when the sun shines during winter.
