2004/2005 Officers  Cincinnati: A success!! The second annual meeting of the Mid West Sea Hawkers was bigger and better than ever! There were raffles and contests, lots of prizes, great food, tailgating (despite the weather) and a good showing of SEAHAWK FANS in the stadium!!! I wasn't able to make it (boo hoo!) but the reports are in and it was sensational!!! Hats off to President Marty Black, VP of Entertainment Peter Flores, and to ever-faithful Jerry Martinez for putting this thing together!! WAY TO GO!!!! I'm leaving the reports from last year's event on my site for a while longer. If you have any questions, drop me a line. I'd love to visit with you!
Thanks to the initiative of Marty Black and the fanatacism of Seahawks fans spread throughout the Midwest, we now have our own official Midwest Sea Hawkers booster club!!! LIFE IS GOOD!!! And guess what? We just had our 1st Annual Seahawks Tailgate Party in St. Louis, MO!!! THANKS to Peter Flores for doing a terrific job of organizing the event and working out all the details! We love you, Peter!!! We appreciate all the effort you put into this year's party! For those of you who couldn't make it, I'm sorry! Please, please try to come next year! It is so much fun to spend the weekend with die hard Seahawks fans! The comaradarie of fellow fans cannot be emphasized enough! It was AWESOME! Every Seahawk fan should be so lucky as to make the annual trek to see our boys in the Midwest!

My cousin (The Rams Fan) had such a good time with you guys and couldn’t believe how many of us there were. When I told him about it, he thought there would be like 4 or 5 people in the corner somewhere with a little grill or something. He was overwhelmed. He had such a good time with everyone that I think he is going to come out to Seattle with me for the game against the Rams in December...Thank you again so much for such hospitality and a great time despite a rough loss. -- Brian, New York Thanks for all your hard work I can't believe you guys put this thing together for the Midwest. Letter to Marty: More importantly, meeting all you Seahawk fans was great! I live in the Northwest so it was nice being reminded that Seahawk fans are everywhere ... and just as rabid!! I look forward to next year's Mid West Seahawker event. Thanks again for a job well done. -- Karyn Christner, Spokane, WA Words can not express the joy and comaradery I witnessed this weekend. Meeting new friends, talking Seahawks football, and sharing in some of the best company I have shared in a long time was well worth the trip...And we all had the pleasure to share in some fellow Hawk crazies at the tailgate and to make some friendships that will last a long time. We were also blessed enough to meet and get to know 14 new Seahawk diehards! With them joining, that will put our membership number at 55!!! In no way would I have believed we could have meet 14 new friends this weekend! After being a Seahawks fan for 26 years, this was my first opportunity to attend a game, and I could not have asked for a better time. Both the get together Saturday nite and the tailgate on Sunday were an absolute blast. It was great to get to meet so many other Hawk faithful and share in the comaradarie, food, and prizes!!!. What really blew me away was this was a first time event thrown by a brand new chapter, and I really dont think it could have been any better, or better attended. Even with the game a loss, the weekend fantastic. Marty, Peter, Becky and the rest of the Mid West Chapter did both the Seahawkers and the Seahawks organization proud with this event.
