I'm sure you're feeling like I am right now. That one HUGE mistake of the game cost us our victory. But I have no shame about the way the Hawks played. They took the Packs into OVERTIME at Lambeau field!! I'm sure the Packs had NO IDEA that we were going to play that well against them on their home turf!

Too many dropped balls that could have been scorable catches. Ugh. Sure...the Hawks can blame the weather and say the football was hard to hold, which I'm sure it was, but the Packs seem to do OK with it.

OK....gotta shake it off....there's always THIS year!! :))

(May the Packs eat dirt and CHOKE next weekend in Philly!! haaaaaaa)

That was thrilling and very disheartening. But we sure played a lot better.

I really hope the players can improve on their position skills over the offseason, as some need some real work (e.g. WR’s dropping balls, RB’s not finding holes or being effective WR’s, and DB’s learning how not to get burned 75% of the time).

I hope Springs finds a wonderful new team to play for, because he is showing some signs of age. Despite being easily injured, he is slowing (very evident today). He had some good plays mind you, but he is so inconsistent. Lucas is burned often as well. I just didn’t think our D shaped up as good as other teams had under Rhodes watch. I think it is our curse.

I wouldn't mind trading Stevens away. What a waste of a #1 draft pick…. ooops…. Mirer, Stouffer, Bosworth….. OK I guess it is our other curse.

    Hi Becky,
I'm not sure if you want to hear this, but I just had to send you a note to say that I was sorry Seattle didn't make it. I caught a few minutes this morning before I left for work. It was in the 3rd quarter and I saw the touchdown that levelled the scores. I read later on the 'net at work what finally happened. You gave it a real good try and I think there will be good things ahead for Seattle.

    Subject: Hey there again......

..........I am still hurting after the game. I hope you are dealing with it pretty well. We were so close and again we deserved to advance, but when we drop as many balls as we do, we are lucky to at least have had a chance at it. And we played very well and I believe it will carry over next year and make us even better. I feel so bad for Hass though. I mean, I have watched every game this year and have not missed a second of any game. Now Hasselbeck is one of my favorite Heroes of all time. Nobody likes to see their Hero get hurt. I had all the visions this morning and throughout the game of Hasselbeck winning the first playoff game for us since 84'. Then comes the INT, that will be forever played in my head for years to come. The mere thought of seeing it again brings a tear to my eye. I will be keeping all of the sports channels off of my TV for a while, and I have to go see Lord of the Rings again....my wife made me go and see it after the game was over, so I was unable to follow the movie cause all I saw was that last play in overtime, playing over and over in my head. Geez I wish we could have that one back, oh well another depressing (What If?) offseason for us Seahawks fans. Stay in touch Becky and I hope this gets better in the years to come so we can finally get what we deserve as Seahawks fans.

    Talk to you later,
    David
