OK, so it was the day before St. Patrick's Day and my boss asked me what Irish dish I was fixing the next day. Huh? You have to fix Irish food on St. Pat's Day? Since when!? Who am I to go against the fold? If the rule is you must eat Irish on St. Pat's Day, then count me in.

Well, they say a sucker's born every minute. Little did I know the rule apparently only applied to me. I dug in, found a good-sounding Irish recipe, bought the ingredients, and discovered no one else at work was cooking Irish. B'gosh! B'golly! How fair is that?! I got the last laugh because this recipe is wonderful! OK, it's a little heavy on the veggies and the kids didn't like the turnips, but for the most part this was a huge hit!
