Dear Joey,
What? I have been a season ticket holder for 21 Years, and
NEVER have I been so disappointed in a player as I am in YOU, today, August
26, 1999. You, sir, have a contract. One which you seem to think you are
able to ignore. Have you ever THOUGHT about what your agent wants, $$$, NOT
what is best for you. Bottom line, is all he cares about.
Mike Holmgrem. Ever heard the name? He is in Seattle, ready to put together
the best team in your life. Just a thought, wouldn't it be better to be
with the team, while you are under contract, and talk, not through lawyers
and reps? but in person? You, for you, not some guy who tells you you are
the one?
I've had respect for you from day one with the Hawks, but the respect is
fading. There are two things about Pro athletes I cannot understand, a rook
who hasn't proven anything who holds out (King) and a pro who doesn't honor
a contract HE WILLINGLY signed. (Galloway)

My 13 year old nephew thinks you are the BEST, but wonders where you are and
WHY you don't fullfill your contract. Any ideas what I can tell him? After
all, he ONLY wants to play wide receiver for HIS SEATTLE SEAHAKWS, Just like
