My thoughts
OK, you might as well know something else about me. I love photographs. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's the expressions that are captured. Or the shadows. Or the stillness of a life full of action. The freeze frame. The preservation of a moment in time. When I saw that this was a book by a Pulitzer Prize-Winning Photojournalist, I knew it was for me!

I don't always understand the text that goes with the photos but I don't think that's what this book is about. Or if it is, it's not that important to me. The black and white photographs are wonderful, and this is a nice little book to browse through when you need a smile.
