Condolences to Mike Nolan and his family on the passing of his father.

Seahawks kick off to 49ers. They run up past the 30 yard line.

1st and 10 for the 9ers – The struggling Alex Smith comes out onto the field. The crowd ROARS!!! Smith goes deep to Jackson and the ball falls incomplete but there’s a flag. No foul for a legal contact.
2nd and10 – Gore to run and we’ve got that one covered.
3rd and 7 – Incomplete pass to no one as we pressured Smith. We got off the line really fast. I thought we might have jumped too soon.
4th and7 – 9ers punt to Burleson. Great punt, the coverage team was waiting for Burleson to catch it.

1st and 10 for the Seahawks – From the 15, bad snap. Ball hits the turf. Hass picks it up and passes for a first down.
1st and 10 – Shotgun. Hass to Hackett. Complete for a short gain.
2nd and6 – Mo to run, goes wide and gets a short gain.
3rd and 2 – Ohhh, they say Burleson didn’t catch the ball. He says he did. Challenge flag goes out. From one angle it clearly looks like a catch. From the other it’s iffy. I don’t think they’ll overturn it because it’s not conclusive. Ohhh, they gave it to us! COOL!
1st and 10 - Hass has time, throws too high to Burleson. Too low last time, too high this time. Calm it down, Hasselbeck!
2nd and10 – For the record, Shaun Alexanders’s jacket is UGLY. Hass to Hackett for a big first down. Nice!
1st and 10 – Hass to a wide open Burleson. SWEEET!
1st and 10 – Mo to run on a screen as the 9ers came after Hasselbeck. Short gain.
2nd and7 – Threw at the goal line in double coverage. Eeks. It feel incomplete. Mo took a hard hit after the play. Ouch. He appears to be OK.
3rd and 7 – Hass to Heller – flag. Haralson hit Hass late, I think. Yep, helmet to helmet roughing the passer. Half the distance from the end of the catch.
1st and 10 – Hass under pressure, throws it away.
2nd andgoal – Time out. We were running out of time on the clock. Mo to run just to the goal line. He didn’t quite get in. Rats!
3rd and goal – Pass to Heller! Well, I wouldn’t have called THAT!!! I wanted to see a QB sneak!

Seahawks 7 – 49ers 0

Seahawks kick off to the 49ers. Wow, they did a fake reverse on the run back. That was funky. I kind of liked it but it seemed a little dangerous.
1st and 10 for the 9ers – The Hawks are calling for noise. Gore to run and he gets a very small gain.
2nd and9 – Smith to pass, Walker makes the catch and bobbles the ball. 49ers retain possession. Walker hobbles off the field.
3rd and 7 – We’re showing blitz. We came after them fast and hard. Kerney came up fast and stripped the ball. Hawks recover.

1st and 10 for the Seahawks – Hass is pressured and throws it away in the end zone.
2nd and10 – Hass to Burleson for a nice gain just shy of the first down.
3rd and 1 – Mo to run for the first down.
1st and 10 – Hass to Hackett who lost his balance and danced out of bounds.
2nd and7 – Pass to Heller shy of the goal line.
3rd and 1 – Pass to Hackett in the end zone. Hackett wants flags but doesn’t get one.
4th and1 – Field goal unit comes onto the field. Brown’s kick is good.

Seahawks 10 – 49ers 0

The Seahawks kick off to the 49ers who get a great run back to the 40-ish yard line.

1st and 10 for the 9ers – Smith under pressure, scrambles, throws it away. Flags. Offensive pass interference. Huh? Wow, the 49ers can’t catch a break. Cool for us. 1st and 20 – False start on the 49ers. Our guys had to jump up and down and point before they’d call it. 1st and 25 – Flags. False start again. 1st and 30 – Gore to run, they say it’s a gain of 6.
2nd and24 – Smith to pass. Has time. Goes short to Gore who gets a bit of a run afterwards.
3rd and 17 – Nice run by the 49ers but they’re tackled just shy of the first down marker.
4th and1 – They’re going for it at mid field. Time out Seattle. After the time out, he decides to punt the ball. Burleson fields it inside the 10.

1st and 10 for the Seahawks – Hass to Mo for a hard hitting run. Not sure if it’s a first down or not; we’re talking about Nolan’s father.
1st and 10 – Mo to run again.
2nd and 6 – Mo to run, waits for the line to block and gets a yard.

3rd and 6 – Hass to throw. OBOMANU!!! I don’t know how he caught it from Clements! First down! SWEEET!
1st and 10 – Hass to Bobby Engram. Gain of 20.
1st and 10 – Time out Seahawks. That’s our last one for the quarter. Not sure what’s up with that. Mo to run for a short gain.
2nd and8 - Hass to run for it. Very close to the first down! It wasn’t pretty but it was effective!
1st and 10 – Mo to run for a short gain.
2nd and8 (I think) – Engram to make a catch and run with it for a first down. Nice.
1st and 10 – “Razor sharp”, they’re calling Hasselbeck. Mo to run. Breaks through a couple of times. Oops. Flags. Holding on us. Bummer. 1st and 20 – Hass to throw. It’s batted. It hangs in the air. My heart races! It falls incomplete. Whew! That was scary!
2nd and20 – Hass to pass. Throws behind Weaver who catches it and keeps on going.
3rd and 13 – Flags. Hass passes to Burleson. Flags all over the place. Officials are conferencing. The ball was caught. Illegal contact on the defense.
1st and 10 – Ut-oh, there’s some jawing going on with Hass and a 49er defender. Incomplete. I’m surprised it wasn’t grounding.
2nd and10 – Mo to run. Gets nothing.
3rd and 10 – High snap. Hass has time. Waits too long. Sack.
4th and10 – 46 yard field goal attempt. It’s good. Flag. Holding on Seahawks. Oh brother.

2nd and7 – Flags. False start. Too bad because Gore got the first down.

3rd and 4 – The crowd is SO loud! They run. He’s wrapped up. Oh my gosh, my ears are bleeding and I’m not even at the game! ?
4th and4 – Punt to Burleson who gets tripped up. Ut-oh. They say the ball came out. Seattle’s got the ball. I think.

1st and 10 – Hass to pass. Goes to a wide open Hackett who gets a huge gain. 48 yards! 1st and goal – Too high for Hackett in the end zone. Pressure was coming, Hass had to unload.
2nd andgoal – Morris steps into the end zone! TOUCHDOWN!! Sweeeeeeeet!!! I like Engram chatting with Morris after the TD!

Seahawks 17 – 49ers 0

Seahawks kick off to the 9ers and they have a good return.
1st and 10 – Gore to run, short gain.
2nd and8 – Sack. Peterson is a wee bit happy about that! He about strips Smith. “What happened to tear away jerseys? He was almost naked by the end of that play.”
3rd and 11 – Nice pass, but not a first down.
4th and4 – ESPN is bad about showing the downage. Flags. Play clock ran out. Delay of game.
4th and9 – We let the ball go and it takes a huge 49ers bounce.
1st and 10 for the Seahawks – Mo to run for a loss.
2nd and11 – Hass throws long and out of bounds in the direction of Engram.
3rd and 11 – Mo to run for a short gain.

*** TWO MINUTE WARNING ***

4th and8 - We punt, it hits a Seahawk in the helmet! How a weird game this is turning out to be!!! Fair catch interference. Yeah, that was just dumb. SF starts inside the 40.
1st and 10 – Smith throws to Gore for no gain.
2nd and10 – SACK. Flag. Ball is loose, Seahawks recover. Babs is dancing! No foul, the official threw the flag instead of the beanbag! What a weird, weird game this is!
1st and 10 for the Seahawks – Hass to Pollard. Short gain.
2nd and2 – Pass to Pollard for another short gain.
1st and 10 - :33 left in the half. Hass runs it. That was dumb.
2nd andsomething – Flags. Twelve men on the field for the 49ers. 5 yard penalty, first down.
1st and 10 – Josh Brown to try a 49 yard attempt. It’s good. Flags. False start. Chris Spencer. 1st and 15 - :12 left in the game, no timeouts. Field goal attempt. No good.

1st and 10 for the 49ers - :07 left. Hail Mary. Complete. Time runs out. The ball comes loose. Nolan says there’s still one second left.

San Francisco tried an on-side kick. They almost pulled it off but we came down with it, miraculously. I have no idea how Wallace got the ball.
1st and 10 for the Seahawks at midfield. Hass goes long but it falls incomplete.
2nd and10 – Pass to Weaver for a first down. NICE gain!!
1st and 10 – Mo to run. Drops the ball. 49ers recover.
1st and 10 for the 49ers at the 40ish – Gore to run for a medium gain.
2nd and4 – Gore to run and gets the first down, their first legitimate first down in the game.
1st and 10 - Pass is batted down and Tapp nearly caught it! That would have been fun!
2nd and10 – Smith to run, gets mauled.
3rd and 4 – Smith was hit as he threw – we had a blitz going on. He threw long but it wasn’t good to Jackson.
4th and4 –Fake punt, tried to get the Hawks to jump off-sides. Delay of game 49ers.
4th and9 – Fair catch by Burleson who bobbles the ball out of bounds.

1st and 10 for the Seahawks from the 20 – Passed straight to Clements.

1st and 10 for the 49ers from the 23 – Gore to run for a first down.
1st and 10 – Smith threw it away as Kerney and Mebane were bearing down on him.
2nd and10 – Gore to run and he’s stopped after a short gain.
3rd and 7 – Oh my! It’s caught in bounds but it’s short of the first down marker and short of the goal line!
4th andinches – Time out 49ers. They are going for it. They hand off to Gore and … he doesn’t get it. He’s stopped way short. Oh my, oh my. We are trying to give this game to the 49ers and they won’t have any part of it. This is a comedy of errors. A farce.

1st and 10 for the Seahawks at the 1 yard line – Mo just barely gets out of the end zone. Holding, Seattle. It must have been on the field of play and not in the end zone. Or … wait. Is it? Yes. Penalty declined.
2nd and12 – Mo runs hard and gets to the 6 yard line. (How could it have been
2nd and12? They declined the penalty and we were at the 1 yard line…)
3rd and 7 – Hass to pass. Throws incomplete and that was dangerous. Yikes!
4th and7 – They’re coming after the kicker. It takes a decent bounce and the 9ers will start at the 40 yard line. What a goofy game this is.

1st and 10 for the 49ers – This game is wearing me out. I’m shot! We should have this game put away. Gore to run and gets a nice gain.
1st and 10 – Gore to run again. Short gain.
2nd and7 – Smith throws to Jackson for his first catch of the game. It was too low so he couldn’t get any yards after the catch. Were those boos? That’s too bad.
3rd and 3 – Out of the hands of the 49er receiver. Incomplete.
4th and3 – The 49ers are going for it. Incomplete pass. Good defense by Babs. Seahawks take over on downs.

1st and 10 for the Seahawks – Mo to run, 49ers were blitzing.
2nd and10 – Mo to catch and run, first down. NICE play.
1st and 10 – Hass to run for 5 yards when downfield coverage was good.
2nd and5 – Hass had a nice fake. Threw into coverage and Hackett pulled it in. Nice.
1st and 10 - Someone ran a wrong route – the ball fell incomplete.
2nd and10 – Mo to run for a short gain.
3rd and 6 – Hass to Hackett for a first down.
1st and 10 – Shotgun. Hass is changing the play. Steps up. Throws low to Burleson for a first down. I thought it bounced off the turf. I want to see that again. Oh, they better get the next play off fast.
1st and 10 – Mo to run. Good thing they got it off quickly because I’m really not sure it was a complete pass to Burleson!
2nd and4 – Mo to run and he got mauled.
1st and 10 – Weaver to run hard.

We kicked off to the 49ers. Uneventful return.
1st and 10 for the 49ers – Pass, short gain.
2nd and4 – Nearly picked off. We had our hands on it but it fell incomplete.
3rd and 4 – Pass to Battle – incomplete.
4th and4 – 49ers punt to us; Burleson fields it and runs a long way for not much gain.

1st and 10 for the Seahawks – Mo to run for a loss.
2nd and11 – Short pass to Engram
3rd and 4 – Mo to catch it and run and dive for a first down. He DIVES for a first down. That’s sweet!
