How can you help but love Hasselbeck? He does a great job with interviews. I really like his sense of humor. He’s a good guy.

The stadium is full, the snow has started falling. It looks cold. Peterson looks worried. He looks like he can barely catch his breath there on the sidelines. I hope that’s not a worrisome sign!

I’ve gotta tell you, I’m a nervous wreck! I don’t know if we can beat the Packers or not in Lambeau Field. All week I’ve been sparring with Sharpclaw about whether the Packers have more passionate fans than the Seahawks. My contention is that we have equally passionate fans. I won’t dispute that Green Bay has more fans and a fan base that spans generations, but of course they would – they’re a much older team than we are. Seattle got hammered with the Behring years – we’re coming back but it’s taking time. But that does NOT mean we have less passionate fans.

We want the ball and we’re going to score!!!

Koren Robinson is deep for the kickoff, stirring up the fans. We kick off to the Packers. Short kick, dropped by the Packers. Scobey is really slow to get up. I wonder if he’s OK. Nope, he’s not getting up. Oh dear, oh dear. He’s holding his calf. First play of the game. It doesn’t really look like he’s going to get up. The announcers are saying it looks like a high ankle sprain. Here comes the cart. Dude driving the cart is wearing shorts in the snow. ???!!! Scobey’s going off the field on a cart. Let’s hope it’s not whatever they expect it to be. Good luck, Scobey. Go Cats!

1st and 10 for the Packers from the 27. Pass, fumble, Tatupu recovered, OH MY!!!!!! They dropped the ball, he picked it up to run, was hit and dropped it again (I think…) That ball must be slippery! The stadium is SO quiet!!!!!

Wow, this is a weird game already. First play of the game an injury, second play of the game a fumble, third play of the game a touchdown. Who’d have thunk it?!?!?

Seattle kicks off to the Packers and they get a 30 yard return.

1st and 10 for the Packers, 14:33 in the quarter. Grant took the hand off and picked up 8 easy yards. And he made it look easy. He was the fumbler in the earlier play.
2nd and 2 – Grant to run … AND HE FUMBLES!!! Seahawks recover!!! Babineaux got the fumble recovery! Nice tackle by Russell to make the ball pop out!

1st and 10 for the Seahawks from mid-field. Incomplete but our receiver was pushed out of the way. Burleson was mauled on that one.

1st and 10 – Hass to Burleson and it’s complete for a short gain. Branch helps him up after the tackle.
2nd and 3 – Alexander to run right down the middle for the first down. Nice effort.

1st and 10 – Pass to Hackett. Branch is down and can’t stand up. Flag on the field. Branch is rolling around on the ground. They just showed the replay. There wasn’t a hit on the play, he just slipped or got caught up in the turf, or maybe he just pulled something when he was running. Doesn’t matter, it does not look good.
2nd and 3 for the Seahawks – Alexander to run. Branch limped off the field, and the officials picked up the flag after the commercial break.
3rd and 3 – Hass to Obomanu!! MY GUY OBOMANU!!!! Love it, love it!!! First down!

1st and 10 – Hass to Engram – TOUCHDOWN!!! LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!

Green Bay has thrown the challenge flag. I don’t think Engram got both feet out but he was forced out. The official states that it cannot be challenged because he was pushed out. Yep, that’s right.

I’m digging this! But we can’t take anything for granted. A 14 point lead is nothing for Favre!

The snow seems to have picked up. The Seahawks kick off to the Packers. Brawls start all over the field.

1st and 10 for the Packers – Favre has all kinds of time. First down pass – 14 yards actually.

1st and 10 – Grant to run wide, goes out of bounds, short gain.
2nd and 7 – Favre to pass. Has time. Runs. Tackled by Hill.
3rd and 7 – shotgun. Fave has time. Jones gets the pass and a lot more. Bummer. 31 yards on the play.

1st and 10 – Favre to pass to the tight end. We had great coverage. It sounds like the fans are booing. Is that what they’re doing? Maybe it’s some weird cheesehead chant or something.
2nd and 5 – Pass to Jennings, touchdown Green Bay. Wow, it really looks like a lot of snow when you see the crowd shots from the distance. PAT is good.

Packers kick off to the Seahawks. The field is starting to turn white. Burleson fields the kickoff and has a nice return. Herring helps him up after the tackle.

1st and 10 for the Seahawks – Incomplete pass to Burleson. Pass was right on target in heavy coverage.
2nd and 10 – Not sure what Hass did on that play but it went out of bounds.
3rd and 10 – They say the snow is coming down more than ever. Hass runs with it. Flags. Off-sides defense. COOL! We needed that break for sure.
3rd and 5 – Sack.
4th and 5 – What the heck is the deal with the Packers? When did they get so dirty? They’re riding us when we’re out of bounds. They’re throwing punches at us after the play. Where are the flags? We punted, it went out of bounds.

1st and 10 for the Packers – 5:52 left in the quarter. The field is completely white now. Favre is in the shotgun. Passes to Driver. Short gain.
2nd and 7 – Shotgun. Favre to pass. Pressure. NEARLY our ball. It went into the hands of Babs and he couldn’t hang on! Oh, that was so close!!!
3rd and 7 – What’s with the camera angles? I’m getting dizzy with all these overhead spinning shots! Time-out, Favre. Maybe he was dizzy too!!! ?

Ohhh, they just showed us cleaning the shoes of Kerney! That was disgusting. There’s a lot of turf clogging up the cleats.

3rd and 7 – Shotgun. Favre passes to Franks and he reaches across to the first down marker. Nice effort. They’ll measure. It’s short. And that was after a good spot according to the announcers! Now they’re changing their minds. Green Bay is challenging the spot on the field. I don’t know enough about the rules to know what the call should be. I suspect they’ll give him the first down. Oh! There’s snow on the brim of Holmgren’s cap! That’s funny!!! Meanwhile they’re sweeping the yard lines. They’re going to respot the ball and re-measure. First down.

1st and 10 – Grant to run with it. Nice gain.
2nd and 3 – This game seems like it’s lasting forever. It’s only the first quarter but I’ve expended enough energy to feel like it should be fine final minutes. Meanwhile, slant play for a first down.

1st and 10 – Grant had a great play, tackled by Babineaux but not until they’d picked up 26 yards. Yikes!

1st and 10 – Grant to run, gets to the 1. I think he’s made up for his mistakes earlier in the game.
1st and goal – NICE tackle by Leroy Hill! WHAM! That was sweeeeeet! Nice, nice job!
2nd and goal – Grant ran in that time. Touchdown Packers. PAT is good.

Green Bay kicks off to the Seahawks. Burleson fields the kick and … did I just see another sucker punch by Green Bay?

1st and 10 for the Seahawks – Shaun to run for a loss.
2nd and ? – Hass to Engram who takes a HARD hit after the catch.
3rd and 1 – We fumble the snap, we recover. It’s shy of the first down and we’ll punt.
4th and an inch – Flags. They ran into Plack. Roughing the kicker, 15 yards, we get the ball back. Let’s hope Plack is faking it or he may be hurt. His head snapped when he got hit. Ouch.

1st and 10 for the Seahawks – Screen to Shaun and after all that work we only picked up 3 yards. I’m a wreck. Oh my gosh, I’m such a wreck. Now they’re saying we picked up 5.
2nd and 5 – Pass to Burleson who makes a spectacular play after the catch. Scary, but spectacular.

1st and 10 – Nice pass defense. Good throw to Pollard. Hass did a good job on that one.
2nd and 10 – Pass to Engram who fights for the first down. Sweeeeet!! They’re saying Branch has a knee injury.

1st and 10 – Shaun to run sideways and gets a small gain. Very patient running.
2nd and 6 – Shaun to run on some sort of screwy fake play – that one didn’t work.
3rd and 7 – Hackett dropped the pass that was right in his hands. Ohhhhhhhh, that hurts! BIG hit on the tackle.
4th and 7 - 29 yard field goal attempt. It’s good! The crowd falls to a hush.

Seahawks 17 Green Bay 21

Seahawks kick to the Packers. NICE tackle by Bentley who jumps on his back.

1st and 10 for the Packers – Hill and Grant are exchanging some pleasantries as Hill may have been a smidgeon late on the tackle.
2nd and 3 (?) – Grant to run for the first down.

1st and 10 – Incomplete pass. It hit Jennings in the hands and drops incomplete. We lucked out on that one.
2nd and 10 – Grant to run and he’s hammered!
3rd and 7 – First down pass to Jennings. Rats.

1st and 10 – Jackson to run, nice gain despite hits by our defense.
2nd and 3 – Pass to Driver who gets the first down.

1st and 10 – Pass to Driver. 4 yards.
2nd and 6 – Pressure on Favre, incomplete. Packers are booing. Oh, the classy Packer fans, booing in the stands. Come on Sharpclaw, you said they’re full of class.
3rd and 6 – Pass, first down. Good grief. We had no pressure on Favre that time.

1st and 10 for the Seahawks – Incomplete pass to Bobby Engram.
2nd and 10 – Pass to Engram and it’s complete but well short of the first down marker.
3rd and 7 – The snow continues to fall. Pass to Burleson but Harris had great coverage.
4th and 7 – NICE hit from Laury after the ball is fielded.

1st and 10 for the Packers – Grant to run and he gets a nice gain.
2nd and 4 – Grant to run and this time we wrapped him up.
3rd and 4 – Pass and a first down. The announcers say that the Packers are 6 of 6 on 3rd down today.

Green Bay kicks off to the Seahawks. Burleson gets a good run back.

2nd and 4 – Pass to Weaver and it falls incomplete.
3rd and 4 – From the 27 yard line (I was wondering – it’s hard to tell in the snow!) First down HACKETT! We needed that. This game got ugly for the Seahawks!

1st and 10 – NICE long pass to Obomanu! Good throw. Ut-oh. Flag. 23 yards on the pass play but what’s the flag about? Two fouls. Both on defense. Holding on two players. Obomanu gets the stats. Awesome.

1st and 10 – Burleson gets a few yards on the passing play. Flags. Holding on offense. Bobby got charged.
1st and 18 – Hand off to Shaun and I HATE THAT CALL! That was stupid. We’re down by almost 18 points. We need some air offense.
2nd and 19 - Pass to Shaun. He picked up 9.
3rd and 10 – Passes to Engram and it’s a first down!!!! Hass had all kinds of time on that play! Sweeeet! Oh, my heart. I’ve lost confidence in our boys and, well, I’m a mess. I’m so nervous.

1st and 10 – We’re at the 22 they say. Shaun to run sideways. Flag. Again. Twelve men on the field for Green Bay. We’ll take it.
1st and 5 – Hass to Obomanu who makes the catch just shy of the first down marker.
2nd and 1 – Weaver to run for the first down and gets it.

1st and 10 – Those are some seriously big snowflakes! Mo to run and gets nothing. Now Holmgren is covered with snow! He looks like a snowman!!!
2nd and 11 – Open receiver in the end zone and Hass couldn’t hit Pollard. Right in the hands and Pollard missed it. Ohhhhhhhh, the pain!
3rd and 11 – Pass to Burleson far short of the goal line.
4th and 8 – Josh comes in to attempt a field goal. GREAT kick.

Seattle kicks off to the Packers in the heavy snowfall. The Packers break a tackle and keep going.

1st and 10 for the Packers – They run for 3.
2nd and 7 – Grant to run.
3rd and 4 – The visibility is awful. Grant gets a huge run. Babs tackles him to save a touchdown. The Packers got 41 yards on that play.

1st and 10 – Jackson to run for a first down. What happened to our tackling? He had the ball hanging out there with one guy hanging onto his leg. Why didn’t we strip the ball?

3rd and 2 – NICE defense by the Packers, unfortunately.
4th and 2 – Seahawks to punt. Takes a great roll for us. Hey, a bit of good luck for us.

1st and 10 for the Packers – Grant to run for a gigantic gain. 28 yards they say.

1st and 10 – Grant to run, short gain this time.
2nd and 9 - Grant to run again. Short gain.
3rd and 6 – The field looks like a hockey rink! Grant to run (I think.)
4th and 5 – Packers to punt and it takes a nice Seahawks bounce. That was the first punt of the game for the Packers.

1st and 10 for the Seahawks – Hass to Obomanu for a big first down. Now could we please keep airing it out?

1st and 10 – Mo to run for a short gain – flag. Personal foul, major face mask. Oh. Didn’t see that one.

2nd and 10 – Almost threw an INT. It was in and out of the hands of Woodson.
