Seahawks 28 - Chiefs 35

The Seneca Wallace Start

Seahawks Best Plays of the Game
The magnificent reception by Branch that was Holt-esque! A one hander that passed the challenge flag test!
The play in which Branch stripped the ball from the Chiefs after it had been intercepted, and the fact that it held up under replay scrutiny!
The touchdown by Herdon scored during a field goal attempt by the Chiefs! Way to finish a play!!
The wide open touchdown by D-Jax!
All of the touchdown passes by Seneca Wallace!

Worse Moments in the Game
The final seconds when we were unable to score. It was heartbreaking, though I'm so proud of the boys!
Our inconsistent defense that lets the big ones get by.

Improvement over Last Week
Seneca Wallace did a fine job. Perfect? No. Better than expected if you believe in the media? Absolutely.

Surprise of the Game
Our lousy tackling time and time again.
The beautiful weather conditions in Kansas in October!
When the announcers referred to Seneca Wallace as "fantastic" with 12 of 26 passing stats!
Josh Perry -- the Seahawks fullback! Do we even know who's on the roster these days?!

Opponent's Best Play of the Game
The hurdle by Michael Bennett during a running play that should have been for little or no yards.

Best Commercial
The coins in the drive-thru bank in the Southwest Airlines commercial!

Most Annoying Commercial
Guinness hot wings -- and all the Guinness ads, actually!

What's Up With That?
Boo! Hiss! Fox News! On the 60 yard fumble touchdown return by Herdon, the officials on the field gave us the touchdown but FOX didn't update the scoreboard! Even after the commercial break, it was unclear to me what the ruling on the field was because FOX didn't give us the points! Is that biased coverage or what!? The replay official ruled the play a touchdown and the scoreboard was finally updated!
Scuffed helmets and grass-stained jerseys -- our boys took some licks today.
The Chiefs threw some fits today! Law and Huard were shown on the sidelines rather perturbed!

Good luck to...
Matt Hasselbeck. We wish you well, and need you back soon!

Best News During the Game
Ironically, the best news came before I even got to sit down for the game. The late service at church ran extra long this morning and I didn't even get home until halfway through the first quater. Gasp! But we had a guest preacher who was inspirational! I can't believe I'm saying this, but I didn't mind missing the game for the presentation he gave today! And that ... is amazing! :-)
