Seahawks 42 - Giants 30

Shhhhhhh! Quiet in the house, please!

Seahawks Best Plays of the Game
NOISE!!!!!!!! I loved the players asking for noise and the crowd responding!!!
Ken Hamlin's interception and run after the "simultaneous catch" play!
Shaun Alexander's pound-it-in touchdown to put our first points on the board!
The excellent defensive series with 2 false starts and a sack by Darryl Tapp to start the game!
The entire series that led to our 2nd touchdown!
Hamlin's second interception and the run that followed!
Bobby Engram and Darrell Jackson's catches that led to our third touchdown! Beautiful!
The totally awesome defensive series that started with NY's third false start!
The Boulware interception that led to our 4th touchdown!
Matt Hasselbeck's 100th career touchdown!
Marcus Trufant stripping the ball from Plaxico Burress and Leroy Hill recovering!
Bobby Engram's laughing roll into the end zone for a TOUCHDOWN!
Good special teams play by Jordan Babineaux.

Worse Moments in the Game
The ill-advised pass by Hasselbeck that was intercepted for a touchdown.
The ineffectiveness of the running game, whether it be Maurice Morris or Shaun Alexander, although they got it done when they needed to, and as always, Mack Strong was rock solid!

Improvement over Last Week
EVERYTHING!!! As the announcers said, we hadn't found our stride in the first two games but today we were striding!

Surprise of the Game
The officials never flagged the fans for noise!
Heller! Who'd have guessed he'd be a star in the game today?!
Hasselbeck fumbling the phone! :-)

New York's Best Play of the Game
Their entire comeback. They had me worried. 27 unanswered points in the 4th quarter.
The fight in his run by Tiki Barber.

Best Commercial
Southwest Air when the women are shopping for towels and one woman snaps the towel at another!

Most Annoying Commercial
I still hate the Pepsi machine commercial, but I also don't like the Schick Quattro Titanium commercial.

What's Up With That?
When there's a simultaneous catch, I thought the ball went to the offense!
Sunday Ticket didn't start showing the game on time!
Where was Ponder through the first three quarters?
Lofa Tatupu missed a sack! That doesn't happen often when he's honed in on the QB!

Good luck to...
Chris Gray for his right knee sprain.
Nate Burleson who was wearing a small cast on his hand.
Shaun Alexander who was visibly limping.

Officiating Crew

Officiating played no meaningful role in the outcome, but the Seahawks won their ninth consecutive game with Mike Carey as referee. Coach Mike Holmgren has won 10 of 12 games as Seahawks coach with Carey presiding.
