1st and 10 – Grossman to pass but it’s too high.
2nd and 10 – Bears to run to Jones again, bad camera angle, hard to see what happened.
3rd and 10 – Grossman to pas. Goes long, bobbled, caught and a nice run after the fact. That was a lucky play. We had good defense but Chicago had better concentration to follow through on the bobbled pass. Aaauuuggghhh. Babineaux gave good effort.
1st and 10 from the 15 – Running play.
2nd and 8 – Jones to run.
3rd and 4 – Jones to run right into the end zone, right down the middle. I think they found our weakness. Every time they needed a big run it was down the middle.12 plays 80 yards.

3rd and 10 – Hass to pass, in and out of the hands of a defender and into the hands of Darrell Jackson! Jackson falls sort of the first down however.
4th and 1 – Punt. I think we should have gone for it. It would have been risky and I suppose it’s way too early to be doing that but if Chicago plays as well the entire game as they did on their first series, we’re going to need every opportunity we can get.

1st and 10 – Chicago starts inside the 10 – Jones to run. He’s going to be tired by the end of the game!
2nd and 5– Jones to run again. Peterson gets a nice tackle.
3rd and 2 – Pass complete.
1st and 10 – Pass for a moderate gain.
2nd and 3 – Jones to run for next to nothing – and it was right up the middle, too.

Chicago 14
Seahawks 7

Chicago to kick off to the Seahawks. Burleson runs it and gets another great return.

2nd and 12 – Hass to throw. Has time. Throws to Branch as the checkdown.
3rd and 7 – Shotgun. Hass audibles. Has time. Goes long. GREAT defense to knock the ball away. Could have been INT though because Urlacher was in better position to receive the ball. That was a dangerous pass.

1st and 10 – Seahawks start at the 24. Hass to throw. Pump fakes. Throws short to Shaun Alexander who runs for a first down. Gain of 12.
1st and 10 – They’re saying Shaun has gone to a different cleat. I think. Maybe he started with a different cleat. Joe Buck doesn’t know fractions. Pass to Will Heller. Short gain.
2nd and 8 – Mo Maurice to run.
3rd and 7 – Shotgun. Complete to Jackson. They called it a catch, then said he didn’t control it in bounds. Waved off. Hmpf.
4th and 7 – Hester nearly fumbled the ball. He let it hit the turf, then he went after it and missed it. He did recover it however.

The Bears are having some sloppy moments. If we could capitalize on their problems maybe something good would happen. I’m so nervous.

The Peyton Manning commercials are awesome, too.

1st and 10 – Bears to run. He pushes an entire team of defenders an extra 3 yards.

1st and 10 – Hass has all day to throw, goes to the corner of the end zone to Engram but it’s too far. Good defense by Chicago anyway.
2nd and 10 – Shaun to run for a short gain.
3rd and 3 – We MUST have a touchdown on this possession. We must. We must. Oh please. Shaun to run. Should be a first down. He had a lot of effort on that one to try for the first down. Not sure if we got a good spot. Short by inches. We’re going for it.

2nd and 8 – Nice long pass. 21 yard gain.
1st and 10 – Nice pass and good run after the pass. Good grief.
1st and 10 – Davis for the Bears is hobbling, too. This turf is no good. They resodded the field this week so it’s very loose turf. Bears at the 16 yard line. We need a INT to prevent a TD. 1:26 left in the half. Grossman has all day but there’s a flag. First flag of the day, the announcers say. Is that right? No illegal contact. QB was out of the pocket.

Chicago 21
Seahawks 14

1st and 10 – Hass has all day to throw, then finally is sacked. Looks like we’ll run the clock down now.
2nd and 10 – Mo to run. That was a silly call. I’m not sure I agree with our decision to run the clock out.

1st and 15 – Shaun to run. He ran to the outside but couldn’t turn it up.
2nd and 15 – Pass to Branch for his first catch of the game, I think.
3rd and 4 – Shotgun – Has had all time and threw to Branch. They call that his third catch of the game, so I must have forgotten about one. My bad.
1st and 10 – Shaun to run for a first down.
1st and 10 – Good defense! Hass to the corner of the end zone to Stevens but it’s tipped away at the last moment.

4th and 5 – 31 yard field goal attempt. Flags. Defensive player moving. First down Chicago. Oh my gosh. That was AWFUL. I think they missed the field goal, but anyway, it’s now first down for the Bears. What a rotten thing to have happen.

***** END OF THIRD QUARTER *****

1st and goal – The Bears should send us a thank you note for this gift we gave them. Jones to run for not much.
2nd and goal – Flags. False start on Chicago.
2nd and goal from the 14 – Dumps off to Jones when there is pressure. Babineaux on the tackle.
3rd and goal from the 10 – PICKED OFF BY HUNTER!!!!!! The loan officer gets the INT!!!!! (Hey, if the announcers are going to play off the fact that two weeks ago he was a loan officer, we can too!)

1st and 10 – And then Hass gives it back. DUMB play. He had all day, he had an open field. GOOD GRIEF. I can’t believe Hasselbeck did that. It was such a turn of momentum on our part to get that INT and prevent a TD. Good grief, good grief.

2nd and 1 – Benson to take a pass for the first down and more. +11. HOW did we let them do that?
1st and 10 – Grossman really is having a good game today. For all the bad press, he’s done well. Gross man to pass. Thankfully Benson dropped the ball that hit him right in the hands. When Seattle drops passes, they put up stats. How come we’re not seeing that for the Bears today? They’ve dropped many.
2nd and 10 – Benson to run. Nice gain.
3rd and 2 – And we let him go. Another 11 yard run. Grrrrr.
1st and 10 – 7:42 left in the game. Benson to run and we tackle him after a 4 yard gain.
2nd and 6 – Missed tackled again. Should have been a huge loss but we missed tackles.
3rd and 2 – Will we let them have 11 yards again? HOLD THEM SEAHAWKS!! He did NOT get the first down. It was close, but no way. No first down. Oh good grief. They brought on chains and gave them the first down.

***** OVERTIME *****

Seahawks win the toss.

Bears to kick-off. Burleson gets a decent run back. We’ll start at the 30 yard line.
