4th and 2 – Chargers to punt. Burleson called for a fair catch and didn’t catch the ball. Oh dear, oh dear. Officials are calling it the Chargers’ ball. Who DID touch the ball?! The challenge flag is thrown. I don’t know that video evidence is clear enough to overturn the call on the field. When the video is slowed down, it does appear that it was the Chargers who touched the ball, not the Seahawks. Regardless, Burleson has given us quite a thrill today with each punt. When he catches the ball he’s a huge threat, but today it’s been a scary adventure each time the ball comes his way. If this IS the Chargers’ ball, this is disastrous for the Seahawks. ILLEGAL TOUCH, Chargers! The ball goes back to the Seahawks!!! Whhhhhheeeeeeeeewwwwwwwww!!!! I think it’s a good call, but we have to be SO careful in the future about these kicks.
