GO HAWKS!

GO HAWKS!

After the fact: 2010
Hill was suspended between September 4 and September 13 for possession of marijuana in Georgia for which he is on 12 months' probation.

After the fact: 2009
Hill was arrested in Georgia in January 2009 for possession of marijuana.

After the fact: 2008
Tatupu entered the season having received a DUI for an incident that could have turned into something ugly. It seemed that he wasn't quite himself until late in the season. Very disappointing given his fantastic leadership on the field in 2007. Hill and Willis had respectable seasons. Willis got a lot of playing time in 2008 for the first time in his NFL career and was praised by coaching staff.

Chris Spencer is on injured reserve; David Greene was cut from Indy.

After the fact: 2007
Tatupu is a star in his own right. It's amazing to watch him control the defense.

David Greene practiced with the Patriots and was signed by the Chiefs.

Cornelius Wortham was signed by the Saints.

After the fact: 2006
Chris Spencer filled a role as a backup corner while Lofa Tatupu continues to exhibit his leadership skills on the field.

David Greene served as third string QB behind Wallace who took over for Hasselbeck when Matt was injured.

Cornelius Wortham was cut prior to the start of the season.

Doug Nienhuis practiced with the Texans; signed with Denver.

Mike Sando with the Tacoma News Tribune reports:

Defensive end Jeb Huckeba is still in Cheney, even after the team released him Friday.

The former fifth-round pick is eligible to join the physically unable to perform (PUP) list upon clearing waivers. Once on the PUP list, Huckeba would be ineligible to play this season, but he could conduct rehab with the team.

Unlike a player on injured reserve, Huckeba would not count against the 80-man roster limit, and the team would not have to pay his full salary.

What a year Lofa Tatupu has had! Many criticized this pick in the draft, but he's emerged as a real team leader for the 2005 Seahawks! He's not only moved into a starting position but he's a motivator, he's well respected, and he's found favor with Coach Holmgren! Some said he was a serious candidate for Rookie of the Year!

Leroy Hill has turned out to be another valuable player in the line-up, particularly in the end of the season. David Greene hasn't had any playing time behind #2 QB Seneca Wallace, but rumor has it that we should keep our eye on his development in the coming years!

Doug Nienhuis was the draft pick we wanted to watch closely, as he was one pick away from the famed "Mr. Irrelevant". You can read about his tenure as a Seahawk by clicking the link on his name!
