Seattle 37 - Arizona 12
"I believe I can say this without any hesitation," Holmgren said. "We will score sometime this year in the second half, we will. Quote me."
Coach Holmgren, rest assured. We scored in the second half!!! Wow, it was SO great to have a game like this!!! DOMINATION! We played four quarters of football and we were having fun!!! It will be a long time before I forget seeing Darrell Jackson on the sidelines, laughing, falling over, and celebrating with his teammates!!! It was just great!!!! Nothing makes me happier than to see the boys enjoying the game of football! Not to take anything away from our defense, but we did have it a bit easier when Warner went out of the game with a groin injury. (Did we really need to see so many replays? Give the guy some dignity...) I do believe however that we'd have continued to play very well even if Warner hadn't been sidelined. The change in QB was a detrimental disruption to Arizona but the defense fought hard to make sure it remained that way. Good for them!! Shaun Alexander! Wowee baby!! WHY, someone tell me WHY, doesn't he have a long term contract?!?!? He is just incredible and I'm so proud of him for his awesome start to the season! I'm not too sure what to make of the "burping the baby" dance, personally I'm partial to the "sprinkler" but hey, if it makes him happy, let's burp the baby!!! Weren't Engram and Jackson awesome today! OK, yeah, there were some dropped passes but I love the fight after the catch and we're seeing some really good effort this season. Kiltman! The announcers had quite a discussion about your hairstyle!!! I was dying with laughter!! If only they'd seen your kilt! THANK YOU for the phone call from the stadium! I laughed till I cried when I received it! You are right, there's probably no one who would have appreciated you talking to Dave Krieg more than me!! GOOD FOR YOU! You are an ambassador to the Seattle Seahawks and we're proud to have you representing all the die hard fans across the US and the world! Congratulations to Coach Chuck Knox on his induction into the Seahawks Ring of Honor. I wish I could have been there to cheer him on as he was bestowed with this great honor. He's a wonderful person in addition to being a coach that gave us many great memories. All the best to Coach Knox! |
