Seahawks 34 - Saints 15

OK, I saw the game. I didn't read any of the newspaper articles prior to the game so that I wouldn't be biased by reporters. I didn't even read the entire conversation on our board, forcing myself not to look at the comments until I could see the game on the NFL Network on Sunday!!

I thought it was ... um ... sort of boring. Don't jump all over me for that! It's just that you end the season with this fierce competition -- the players who are still healthy are like fine-tuned machines, in synch with their teammates, putting everything on the line for the final games in hopes of a post-season schedule and with any luck the big game!! In pre-season it's just not that intense.

Having said that, I am pleased that we were able to capitalize on the first turnover of the game. That's not something to be taken lightly. And a win, even in pre-season, is good for morale, I think. Each of our squads that played, whether they were the starters or the back-ups, won their game. I think that's important.

We have a lot of work cut out for us but that's to be expected this time of year. My biggest complaint at the moment is -- WHO ARE THESE GUYS? #94 is supposed to be Chad Brown! I had my roster in hand -- there are so many new faces and names. It's sure not like the old days.
