I have a lot of favorite memories of Mike Holmgren. I wrote to him to wish him the best with the Seahawks and also to thank him for all he did for my Packers. I have always been a Packer fan and Green Bay waited 29 long years for a shot at being a power in the NFL. Mike Holmgren took a team and made a power out of them. Little Green Bay, not as big as Salem, OR. The Man is a great football mind and a great coach.

I have always had a soft spot for the Seahawks and living in the Northwest I would like to see them do great. It will take time but the Seahawks have a good man. I wrote and thanked him several years ago and he took the time to write back. I think that says what kind of man Mike is (one class act!) My daughter is a big Seahawk fan and she is really excited Mike took over. I will root for the Seahawks whoever they play, except Green Bay. The only thing Mike doesn't have is Brett Favre....and I'm glad he didn't take him from Green Bay.
