"...make sure I spend some time with the Lord" -- Ryan Plackemeier
Ryan Plackemeier found himself unable to sleep the night before his first pre-season game in August 2006.
“In the middle of camp, I kind of faltered and had a rough scrimmage, so I was real excited about tonight. I feel real good now.”
Asked how he overcame the jitters, he said he turned to prayer.
“Just letting God’s peace fulfill me and overcome me,” he said.

Three things you have to have at camp: "My Bible, plenty of underwear and deodorant."
Beyond practice and meetings, your camp routine includes: "Get up and make sure I spend some time with the Lord, and before I go to sleep I spend some time with the Lord. That's just something that I have to do."
